How to Conduct an RFP for a Benefit Plan

Curcio Webb has partnered with more than 400 clients over the past 23 years to help our clients improve employee benefits administration.  This work spans retirement (defined contribution and defined benefit) and health & welfare administration.  Jamie and Sid are going to share a benefits administration market perspective including:

  • Common client objectives and challenges (across employee engagement, financial due diligence, and risk mitigation)
  • When to conduct a search versus a targeted contract renewal
  • Participant needs
  • Marketplace trends/providers
  • Ways to mitigate risk in your provider agreements

Sid Mendelson

Sid Mendelson is a Principal at Curcio Webb. With over 35 years of benefits strategy experience, Sid is responsible for many of Curcio Webb’s client relationships.  He frequently assists clients with their benefits delivery strategy decisions and has a strong understanding of client challenges and marketplace solutions.  Sid spent 15 years as the leader of business development for Kwasha Lipton and PWC—PwC acquired Kwasha Lipton in 1997.  He earned a BS in Special Education from Utah State University.


Jamie Curcio

Jamie Curcio is a founder of Curcio Webb, along with Gordon Webb.  She has supported several hundred clients across all industries.  Jamie has a deep understanding of the technical and operational aspects of benefits administration across retirement and health & welfare, along with a solid understanding of the marketplace.  Prior to Curcio Webb, Jamie was a Principal at Foster Higgins.  She earned a BS in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
