Swain\, FS\, EA\, FCA\, MAAA\n \n The 2013 Wells Fargo retirement plan sponsor survey and its resulting analyses\, Current Issues for Retirement Plans: Plan Sponsor Views and Expected Actions in 2014\, are jointly developed and sponsored by Wells Fargo and Bryan\, Pendleton\, Swats & McAllister\, LLC (BPS&M). This is the seventeenth employee benefits survey analysis prepared by BPS&M. The survey analysis includes information on defined contribution\, defined benefit\, and nonqualified plans. Boston Research Group facilitated the online survey during the fall of 2013. \n \n Thomas A. Swain\n \n Tom Swain is a BPS&M principal and a member of the firm’s management committee. He has been a principal in the firm since 1987 and has consulted in the design\, funding\, administration\, and regulatory compliance of retirement and nonqualified deferred compensation plans since 1984. He also has experience and expertise in providing consulting services for companies involved in mergers and acquisitions.\n \n Tom received a BS in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina\, Chapel Hill and earned membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries\, an Enrolled Actuary\, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.\n \n Tom is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries\, and a Board and Executive Committee Member of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.\n \n The statements and materials presented at WP&BC Phoenix Chapter events are solely the opinions of the speakers and do not represent the opinions or positions of WP&BC Phoenix Chapter.
