This session provides an overview of ERISA’s participant disclosure requirements and goes on to detail the requirements for acceptable methods of e-delivery*. After the session, attendees should be able to:
o Understand the DOL’s general requirements for participant disclosures in ERISA-governed retirement plans
o Distinguish between the DOL’s three safe harbor methods of e-delivery
o Evaluate the pros and cons of each method
